Scientific Equipment Division and TINT Reactor Visit by International Research Team

On 8 December 2025, Prof. Harry J. Whitlow, Visiting Professor at the Tandem Laboratory, Uppsala University, Sweden, together with Dr. Robert J. W. Frost, Researcher at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Uppsala University, and Assoc. Prof. Kiadtisak Saenboonruang, Head of the Special Research Unit of RTAM, along with researchers Chalisa Moonlek, Prachnawadee Hongboon, and Donruedee Toyen, a Ph.D. candidate, visited the Scientific Equipment and Research Division of the Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute and the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT).
In the morning, the delegation visited the Scientific Equipment and Research Division, where they learned about the unit’s comprehensive research support services. These include advanced scientific instruments, specialized laboratory facilities, and greenhouse units that support research in chemistry, environmental science, toxicology, molecular biology, tissue culture, as well as optical and electron microscopy.
In the afternoon, the delegation continued their visit at the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT). There, they toured the research nuclear reactor and observed the Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) facilities.
This visit fostered academic exchange and strengthened research collaboration between Kasetsart University, Uppsala University, and Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT).
